Search Marketing & Internet Advertising Strategies
Search Marketing or a whole Internet advertising plan depends upon the size of a company that want to implement the strategies. The size of a company, its revenue and investment gives a rough estimate as how much should be spent on Online Marketing using the latest media.
Going back to the past way of marketing there was a proverb saying "Use advertising like you are using salt. To make a serving of dal, use a fist of dal and a pinch of salt". Large companies invest on different types of media to promote their brand, such media ads can be found on Mass media - such as Television, Radio, News Paper, bill boards etc.,
However, in the present trend, apart from the traditional marketing media, the Internet and Mobile marketing covers a wide varieties of demographics to drive-in the traffic to the website of a company promoting brand identity.
In addition to this, both the traditional media and the current media of marketing need money to be invested whereas, the small businesses does not need much of the investment inorder to promote the brand, rather it can start by using referrals.
Further more, a company wants to spend on advertising their product, from what is already in the market. It is not at all a good idea to spend on advertising such products. The key is to make the product so interesting and useful to the people recommend it to others stimulating Word of Mouth Marketing, the most effective type of marketing.
To sum up, the size of Advertising is decided to plan how much input you are going to invest on the result you want. You dont have to / want to put too much input, which will create more demand of the product that you can supply.
